True story. A Sunday school teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good christian.

She called up the first student and hed written about praying nightly, saying no to abortion, banning gay marriages and donating money.

The second student called and was asked to read his essay. He wrote of talking to god and allowing people to enjoy their lives and supporting gay marriage.

When the papers had been handed back graded the second student had gotten and F and when he asked the teacher about it she only told him that shed pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked exactly why he was going to hell and why he was getting an F. The teacher told him that catholicism strictly forbids gay marriage.

The student looked at her for a moment and then said "Im gay.". The teacher promptly kicked him out of class as if hed admitted to worshipping satan. A girl in the back of the class, who had a boyfriend, so was obviously straight, got up and left as well in protest.

Does it truly matter whatyour orientation is? Stright, bi, gay, merely curious. Does not everyone deserve at least the chance for happiness?
